WEEK 5: FISHER WISE SCHOLAR ATHLETES FROM THE RIDGELAND AND HERITAGE GAME

Our Scholar Athlete of the Week is Terrance Roberts and Derek Gibson, sponsored by The Law Offices Of Fisher Wise.

From Ridgeland High School is Terrance Roberts.

Terrance plays football and baseball for the Panthers where he has lettered in both the past four years.

He was All-State Linebacker and Athlete in 2018 along with being the Defensive Player of the Year.

In the classroom Terrance holds a 3.62 G.P.A., is member of the FFA, Fellowship Of Christian Athletes and Stem Academy.

Outside the classroom, Terrance spends time at elementary schools, packing lunches for people in need, and helping coaches with camps.

From Heritage High School is Derek Gibson.

Derek is an offensive lineman on the Generals football team.

He was on the First Team All Reign in 2018 and Honorable Mention All-State Offensive Lineman.

In 2017 he was on the Second Team All Region.

In the classroom, Derek holds a 3.92 G.P.A., is member of The National Honor Society, National Beta Club, Partner’S Club and Hosa Member.

He is also the President of the National English Honor Society, and a Heritage Student Ambassador.

Congratulations to both Terrance Roberts and Derek Gibson.

Students may be eligible for a $5,000 scholarship at the end of the season.
